Families, enjoyed the tea from June's tea tasting program? Herbalist Michelle Ganga leads this follow-up program to grow your own tea! Young ones will embark on a fascinating journey as they learn to nurture their own tea plants, explore the wonders of nature, and uncover the secrets of tea-making. Join us at the library for an adventure filled with fun activities, interactive learning, and a sprinkle of imagination. Let's cultivate a love for tea and the joy of discovery together! Embark on a journey into the world of tea with our Grow Your Own Tea family program. Discover the art of cultivating your very own tea plants right at home, from seed to steep. This program was provided by a Farm to Summer grant. This opportunity supports efforts to connect children, teens, and families with locally sourced, sustainable food, and provide hands-on food education and enrichment activities.
