ARACELI FARMS FIELD TRIP

ALL ATTENDEES MUST BE REGISTERED

Join us for a FREE library field trip to Araceli Farms to experience the Lavender Bloom! This field trip is recommended for children ages 5 and up.

PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION PROVIDED BEFORE REGISTERING FOR THIS EVENT.

Join us for a FREE fieldtrip to Araceli Farms in Dixon! Meet us at the Fairfield Civic Center Library in the children's area to check in and we will take a bus to Dixon. Once at the farm we will be given a tour and participate in a Q&A. After, we will break for lunch and participants will receive a complimentary cup of lavender lemonade to enjoy. Following lunch, adults will take part in the Lavender U-Pick where individuals will make their own lavender bundle picked fresh from the fields. Children will join farm staff to create their own lavender sachets. We will finish the day by giving people time to take pictures and see the animals on the farm. 

All ages are welcome but everyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. This program is recommended for children 5 years and up.

ALL ATTENDEES MUST BE REGISTERED FOR EVENT. Check in is from 9:00-9:15 AM. If you are not physically present at the library by 9:15 AM your spot(s) will be forfeited to the next people on the waitlist.

WE WILL LEAVE THE LIBRARY AT 9:15 AM AND COME BACK AT 1:30 - 2:00 PM. PLEASE EXPECT TO STAY THE ENTIRE DURATION OF THE FIELD TRIP. RSVP ONLY.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

AFTER you REGISTER for this event you may pick up a bus waiver to sign early at the Children's desk. If not, waivers will be provided day of event.

- Bring a lunch/snacks and your own drinking water 

- Please wear comfortable walking or athletic type shoes

- Please no gum or candy at the farm!

- YES! There are RESTROOMS at the facility! (None on the bus)

- Estimated travel time to and from Araceli Farms in Dixon is about 22 minutes. Times may be prolonged dependent on traffic. Children must be able to remain seated at all times to be able to go on this trip.
