Learn to make flavored salts in this hands on workshop presented by the Master Preservers.

Learn to make flavored salts in this hands on workshop presented by the Master Preservers.

Flavored salts are made by mixing natural salts such as kosher or sea salt with flavoring agents. These flavoring agents include aromatic herbs, spices, dried fruit peels, flowers, truffle pieces, seaweed and various other ingredients. These aromatic ingredients enrich the salt with aroma and taste. They be used in dishes to add different flavor layers.

This workshop will be blending herbs, sriracha, and lemon peels.
