Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by dropping in October 1st-October 15th to create your own Frida-inspired flower crown.

Frida Kahlo was born in 1907 in Mexico City, Mexico. She was a Mexican painter and was most well-known for her use of bright colors and self-portraits. The flowers in her in flower crown represent the natural beauty of Mexico and her deep appreciation for bringing nature to life. 

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by dropping in October 1st-October 15th to create your own Frida-inspired crown. Instructions and materials are provided by generous donation from the Friends of the Vallejo Libraries.
