Emotions Anonymous — Vallejo chapter is a support group open to anyone experiencing emotional difficulties and willing to find support in a weekly recovery group.
Emotions Anonymous is a support group open to anyone experiencing emotional difficulties and who are willing to find support in a recovery group. Attendees may participate freely to gain knowledge and support from others experiencing the same or similar underlying emotions.
The Vallejo chapter is open to all and recognizes that the symptoms or situations may be different, but the weekly support offered may remind others they are not alone in their struggles. We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to come together to share their personal experiences and learn to find serenity and peace of mind.
Emotions Anonymous (EA) is a nonprofit organization branching from the 12-step program of Alcoholics Anonymous. It is a volunteer-hosted meeting designed to help individuals find emotional balance in their daily lives. The program pattern includes anonymity to its members to assure members their freedom to share real thoughts and feelings at meetings.
EA can be an excellent resource in addition to professional help; it is not a medical or psychiatric service, nor does it provide personal or family counseling.
All 'Anonymous' programs are based in spirituality, not religion, and EA is no different. EA never endorses, finances, or lends the EA name to any outside enterprise. EA has no opinion on outside issues; hence, EA's name ought never to be drawn into public controversy. We come together in EA to help ourselves and to share our experiences, strengths, and hope with others.
This program has helped thousands of people since it was founded in 1971. Today's meetings can be found all over the USA and even in 34 countries.
