Learn about Juneteenth and craft

Learn about the history of Juneteenth and create a freedom flag. Workshop leader Rachel-Anne Palacios is an Afro Chicana teaching artist and multicultural arts instructor. This event is for kids ages 5+ and their families.

Materials are limited; in order to have enough for everyone each kid/teen making a flag needs to be registered.

Kids can enter for a chance to win a free copy of "Juneteenth Is" by Bay Area author Natasha Tripplett. Must be present to win.
