In today’s fast-paced world, constant distractions drain our energy, scatter our focus, and leave us stressed. Research shows: a wandering mind is an unhappy mind. Mindfulness offers a simple, proven way to bring your attention back, restore calm, and feel more present. Studies reveal that just 12 minutes a day of practice strengthens attention and working memory.

Through this guided workshop, you’ll learn simple, effective practices to:

  • Sharpen focus & concentration — train your brain to stay on task, even in distraction-heavy environments
  • Boost working memory — hold and recall important information more reliably
  • Reduce stress & anxiety — calm your nervous system and respond instead of react
  • Clear mental clutter through guided writing exercise.

About the instructor:

With over a decade of experience teaching breathwork and meditation since 2011, Harsha Golla brings a compassionate and practical approach to mindfulness. He currently teaches mindfulness classes across Capitola, Aptos, and at the Fairfield and Vallejo libraries, helping people of all levels find calm, focus, and balance in their daily lives. His approach focuses on helping people improve focus, create daily moments of solitude, and cultivate deep relaxation.
