Read to Jax in the picture book area.

By providing safe, positive interaction with animals, Read to a Dog offers kids a relaxed, non-judgmental environment in which to practice reading. The benefits of reading to animals have been documented to include increased reading fluency and improved attitudes about reading aloud. Recommended for children ages 5-12.
