The JFK Library Sewing Circle is a social group for anyone that likes to hand or machine sew. Registration not required if you do not need to use our sewing machines.
Bring a project and meet new people who share your hobbies at the JFK Library Sewing Circle! This event is held in the Makerspace. We have some sewing machines and sergers, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. Please register if you would like to use one of our machines. This is a social club and there will be no instruction. We have sewing workshops almost every month, so please check the calendar for those events.
Available Supplies and Machinery:
Registration is not required unless you would like to use one of the library's sewing machines. If you intend to bring your own machine, or plan to work on a hand-sewing project, you do not need to register even if the event is full. If you reserve a machine but cannot arrive within the first 10 minutes of the program, please call us at (866) 572-7587, (ext 41) to let us know you are still coming. If you do not, we will allow walk-in attendees to use the machines.
