Poetry Workshop for Teens with Fairfield Poet Laureate Michael Wyly

To celebrate National Poetry Month, join us for this hands-on poetry workshop with Fairfield's Poet Laureate Michael Wyly where you’ll experiment with poetic line, including playing with elements of sound and meaning. We’ll collaborate to create "exquisite corpses". Along the way, you’ll try out different writing techniques and practice some revision strategies. For groups who want to take it further, we’ll also talk about how to prepare and submit your poem for publication.
