Join us to celebrate AAPI month with a new drop in craft! Inspired by Yayoi Kusmama, we're making paper plate flowers based off her Flowers that Bloom series. Come in while supplies last!
May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. During open library hours for the dates of Monday, May 11 to Saturday, May 23, we will be making paper plate flowers. This craft is inspired by the Japanese contemporary artist, Yayoi Kusama. Known for her use of dots and immersive installations such as the Infinity Mirror Room at the Broad and Dreaming of Earth's Sphericity, I would Offer My Love at the SFMOMA, the craft is based off her Flowers that Bloom series.
