Make a Hot Air Balloon

It's a sensory craft series! Join us at the library as we make textured hot air balloons. Use feathers, pom poms, glitter, and anything else that sparks your creativity.

As a part of Disability Pride Month, July is dedicated towards sensory crafts. Participants will create their own textured hot air balloon using a variety of tactile materials like tissue paper, feathers, and pom poms on a paper plate. This hands-on sensory craft encourages fine motor skills, imaginative play and artistic expression.
