Join Cultivate Community Food Co-op and the JFK Library for a celebration of our local harvest! Whether you have a thriving backyard garden or just want to learn more about eco-friendly living in Vallejo and Benicia, there’s something for everyone. This family-friendly event is free, open to all ages, and packed with interactive learning.

Event Schedule:

11:15 am: Cooking Demonstration — Cinnamon Apple Sauce by Executive Chef Andrea Quinn. Free samples!

11:45 am: "How Food Co-ops Empower the Community" with Paula Schnese, President of Cultivate Community Food Co-op

12:15 pm: Workshop — How to Clean and Sharpen Garden Tools by Scott Dodson from Sustainable Solano.

12:45 pm: Cooking Demonstration — Sauerkraut, by Master Fermenter Ian Griffin. Free samples!

1:15 pm: Workshop — Truth & Soil Farm, LLC: How to Make Lip Balm.
