An arts and crafts program for a child and their grown up!

In this once a month workshop series we will be exploring different arts and crafts, including book-making methods, paper folding and dyeing (orizomegami), & more. We will use inspiration and instruction from Creativebug and other sources to guide us. After guidance and materials are provided, there may be time to expand upon our projects. This is a program most appropriate for kids aged 6+ and their adults - no unpartnered attendees, please. Kids may need adult support with aligning items or sharp tools and must have the ability to follow sequential directions. Adult accompanying child may be a sibling, caregiver, parent, grandparent, or other guardian aged 18+.

Sept - Back to School Bookmaking - "slit & slot" felt books & Japanese side-sewn paper books

Oct - Roll With It - String & marble painting with acrylics

Nov - Pleasing Patterns - Orizomegami folding and dyeing techniques for creating patterns on rice paper

Dec - Artsy Abstracts - mixed media abstract art creation
