Android Tablet Basic Skills Training

Digital literacy program offers participants 60+ opportunity to learn basic digital skills from the non profit Digital Lift. **Eligibility restrictions apply.**

Participants who qualify will receive digital skills training and may receive a Wi-Fi-only tablet after completing the required 8 hours of training.

October session dates: Tuesday October 13, Wednesday October 14, Tuesday October 20, Wednesday October 21

The Solano Connected program, in partnership with digital LIFT,    

To qualify, participants must:

• Be a Solano County resident.
• Be age 60 or older, or age 18 or older with a disability.
• Not currently own a digital device such as a tablet, laptop, or computer. A smartphone or cell phone does not affect eligibility.

How do participants sign up?
Participants can sign up by scanning the QR code on the flyer at our Vacaville library branches, using the link to application here, or calling digital LIFT at (888) 370-0331 and leaving a voicemail. Application and registration will be managed by digital LIFT staff.

El programa Solano Connected, en colaboración con digital LIFT es un programa de alfabetización digital ofrecido por digital LIFT para ayudar a los residentes elegibles del Condado de Solano a obtener acceso a la tecnología y capacitación.

Para calificar, los participantes deben:

• Ser residente del Condado de Solano.
• Tener 60 años o más, o 18 años o más con una discapacidad.
• No ser propietario actualmente de un dispositivo digital, como una tableta, computadora portátil (laptop) o computadora de escritorio. Tener un teléfono inteligente o celular no afecta la elegibilidad.

¿Cómo se inscriben las participantes?

Los participantes pueden inscribirse escaneando el código QR en el folleto, utilizando el enlace directo de solicitud aquí, recibiendo ayuda en el sitio o llamando a digital LIFT al (888) 370-0331 y dejando un mensaje de voz. La solicitud y la inscripción serán gestionadas por el personal de digital LIFT.
