Ask a Physicist Anything!
Cosmic Connections
Thursday, October 29
6:00pm - 7:00pm
No science background required. Bring your weirdest question. Come for the questions. Stay for the refreshments.
What happens inside a black hole? Could we ever travel through time? Why is quantum physics so strange? And what questions have you always wanted to ask a physicist?
Join us for a relaxed evening of conversation and audience Q&A with local physicists. No science background required—just curiosity.
Recent advances in technology and science have expanded our understanding of the Cosmos. With each new answer comes a new list of questions. UC Davis scientists Lloyd Knox and Markus Luty are bringing their knowledge and expertise on the road for a traveling conversation called Cosmic Connections.
Kinetic Energy mocktails will be served with quantum cookies. This program is geared towards adults and inquisitive teens. If you would like an e-mail reminder, registration is available.
